Therapeutic yoga is a specialized, evidence-informed yoga practice adapted to address specific physical, mental, or emotional health conditions. Unlike general yoga classes, therapeutic yoga uses carefully selected poses, breathwork, meditation, and guided relaxation — modified for the individual’s unique health needs — to support healing, manage symptoms, and improve quality of life. It bridges ancient yogic wisdom with modern clinical understanding of the nervous system, musculoskeletal health, and mind-body medicine. Common applications include chronic pain, anxiety, depression, back pain, PTSD, cancer recovery, and chronic illness management.

Chuna, wanting the best for her students, patients and herself, she sought out the best training for her advanced training in Yoga Therapy. In spite of her living in the United States, the best she found was in India. So of course this is where she went. Believe me the ashram there was basicly the opposite of a luxury hotel. Ask her about the cold winds coming from the Himalayas. Being a gifted guru, she quickly became a favorite of the instructors. She did earn her diploma there, with the open invite to come back anytime.
Chuna is availble for private therapy sessions.

Singing Bowls – Vibrational Therapy Sound Bath
Chuna Grace Rai-Nelson

Ancient Greek, Egyptian, and Vedic traditions used vocal chanting, tuning forks, singing bowls, and drumming to induce therapeutic states and facilitate physical healing.
6000 years ago an underground labyrinth was carved out of rock, creating the Hypogeum of Hal Saflieni of Malta. In one room, the Oracle Room, the acoustics are so perfect that a single human voice can vibrate the wall. It vibrates at a perfect 110 Hz, which matches human brain waves.
Each atom have electrons, protons and neutrons. Each element has its own unique number of these in their atoms, from just a few, to having many. This means that some atoms are small in size compared to others which can be much larger; just like some singing bowls are smaller than others. Different atoms, like different bowls, will vibrate at different frequencies. The size and frequencies of atoms are set.

- When you put atoms together making molecules, or human bones, organs, fluids; they each will have their own Resonant Frequency. If you examine the components sizes: electrons, protons and neutrons, and compare that to the overall size of the atom (Electron Shell), the components make up less than 1% of the volume. This means the atom is mostly just space. Thus, it’s really the Resonant Frequency, the energy which makes it “Solid” matter.
- So, if you think about it, the human body is a collection of Resonant Frequencies, different musical notes (A,B,C,D,E,F,G), creating a living chorus. Sometimes, one or even a few of these can become out-of-balance. By applying the proper force, a matched energy; the correct musical note(s), the inducement of energy can push/pull the body back into the correct Resonant Alignment.

In Asia, in my home country of Nepal, sound energies have been used for thousands of years. They work. In a few decades, they shall be used more than drugs. Balancing seven chakras of kundalini energy.
Please note that a small percentage of people may have a negative response to this and must be allowed to stop. Most people will need several exposures to these sessions, before the subconscious and body fully relax to accept the energy to gain benefits. People need to drink water afterwards, and time to stabilize potential dizziness.
